Vegetable Gravy Manchurian Recipe
Hi friends, Welcome to Jyoti's Kitchen. Today, I am going to post the recipe of a Chinese dish which is very famous in India named "Manchurian". It is very delicious and mouth watering dish that we can eat with noodles or rice.



Ingredients for Vegetable Balls

  • Cabbage                           1 Cup chopped
  • Carrot                               1 Cup grated
  • Capsicum                         1 Cup grated
  • Corn Flour                        2 tablespoon
  • Maida                                3-4 tablespoon
  • Green Chilli                      1 teaspoon chopped
  • Salt                                    According to taste
  • Oil                                     To deep fry


Ingredients for Gravy

  • Garlic                               1 tablespoon chopped
  • Green Chilli                     2 tablespoon
  • Soya Sauce                       1 tablespoon
  • Corn Flour                        1 tablespoon 
                                                (mixed in 1 cup of water)
  • Oil                                     2 tablespoon
  • Tomato Chilli Sauce         1 tablespoon
  • Onion                                1 tablespoon chopped
  • Spring (Green) Onion       Optional





Method of Preparation of balls
Take cabbage, capsicum, carrot, corn flour, maida, salt, green chilli and garlic in a bowl. 



















Keep small amount of each aside to be used later while preparation of gravy. 

Add some water in bowl and create a mixture of all. 




Now make small balls of this mixture.




Then take some oil in pan and get it heated. Now deep fry all the balls.










Now take some olive oil in a pan. 




Add onions, garlic, green chilli in the pan and fry it little.




Then add the vegetables that was kept for gravy preparation and fry them for 1-4 minutes. 







Meanwhile, mix 1 tablespoon cornflour in 1 cup of water and stir it properly. Keep it aside.








Now add soya sauce and then tomato sauce in the pan and mix them well. 








Now pour cornflour and water paste in the pan. 



Cook them 4-5 minutes. 



Now add 2 cup of water in the pan. 




Add some salt according to taste. 




When the mixture starts boiling, add the balls and cover the pan. 






After 8-10 minutes the gravy gets thicker and the balls get soften. Now your vegetable Manchurian is ready to serve.
Take it into a serving bowl and garnish it with spring onion.
